Yamaha R15 V3 with DABAL exhaust has a throaty growl [Video]
The Yamaha R15 V3 remained the most awaited bikes in the Indian market before it was launched at the 2018 Auto Expo earlier this year. The R15 V3 is an entry-level sports bike that is inspired by the YZF-R1. The entry-level track bike attracts a lot of customers due to its sharp looks and state-of-the-art technology that it uses. To make it even sportier, many owners go for customisation. One of the most customised part of such high-performance bikes in the exhaust. Here is a performance exhaust from DABEL that costs around Rs. 12,500. The exhaust completely the way the R15 V3 sounds. The exhaust note becomes quite deep and it gets an overall throaty growl too. Performance exhaust such as this one shown in the video also increases the power output slightly but there has been no mention of the same in the video. Even during idling, the motorcycle sounds much better than the stock and it will surely make the enthusiasts turn their heads. Even Yamaha offers a performance exhaust as an optional accessory with the new R15 V3. The Daytona exhaust supplied by Yamaha increases the power marginally. 2018 Yamaha R15 V3 accessory prices revealed – Full list

The new Yamaha R15 V3.0 sportsbike launched at Rs 1.25 lakh, ex-showroom.

At the R15 V3.0 media ride at the Madras Motor Race Track (MMRT) in Chennai, Yamaha showcased the fully accessorized variant of the R15 with Race Kit. Here are the details, and prices of the official accessories on offer with new Yamaha R15 V3.

Yamaha R15 V3.0 sportsbike, launched at 2018 Auto Expo, is being presented with a long list of race accessories which can be ordered at company showrooms and fitted by Yamaha trained service personnel.

Seat Cover – At Rs 430, there is an optional seat cover to protect the original seat from any sort of wear and tear. This extra seat cover is made up of the same material as original seat and does not in any way take off from the overall looks of the motorcycle.

Frame Sliders – for an added cost of INR 2,450, buyers of the Yamaha R15 V3.0 sportsbike can opt for frame sliders. These are installed without making any holes in the fairing and ensure added rider safety in the event of light crashes.

Skid Plate – This optional accessory is priced at INR 500 and protects the bike muffler from damage when coming in contact with speed breakers

Tank Pad – A tank pad is a necessary accessory. It is priced at INR 224 and protects the fuel tank paint from getting worn off due to constant friction with belt buckle as is quite often the case. This tank pad complies with Global Standard Quality and enhances the sporty appeal of the Yamaha R15 V3.0 sportsbike.

Metzeler Rear Tyre and Daytona Muffler -The Yamaha R15 V3.0 sportsbike also gets sportier with a Metzeler rear tyre priced at INR 9,998. It offers extra grip which along with the Daytona Muffler, priced at INR 16,700 is exclusive for racetrack usage only.
